Style Crush: Rita Ora ♥

Does anyone else currently have a complete girl crush on Rita Ora? After stepping into the limelight with songs such as R.I.P ft Tinie Tempah and How We Do (Party), the singer, songwriter and actress is making waves in the music industry and in the style stakes too. I can't get enough of her cool urban style; whether she's rocking it in a simple cut tee or blinging out in statement gunmetal jewellery, I want this girl's wardrobe!

Totally chilled out styling accessorised with the ultimate designer

My obsession with men's tees just increased - Rita Ora makes this sexy...

Warehouse Autumn Winter 2012 Press Event...

Summer 2012 has barely brought warmth to our finger tips (and goodness knows what's happened to Spring!) so when the Warehouse Autumn Winter '12 Press Event showcased yesterday, it was hard not to feel all inspired for a rather premature upcoming season! So cue the fashion press, a large glass of bubbly, a few soggy umbrellas (thanks London weather!) and prepare for the Warehouse AW12 collection - it's decadently fabulous!

Mannequins suspended from the ceiling showcase the
AW12 collection from Warehouse...

You'll be hitting the dance floor come fall '12 in a chic 1920's paradise; think feathered skirts, bejewelled necklines, drop-waist dresses and stunning faux furs in camel and beige hues: it's so sophisticated and glamorous!

Jewel embellished jumpers are teamed with printed
pencil skirts for a prim vintage look...

Go all out in 1920's style feathers and beading...

You'll be cosing up in faux-fur coats worn over your
evening party dresses...

Versace inspired prints will remain huge for AW12 with Warehouse taking the print clash up a notch and combining iconic animal prints with the popular chain-effect images. Cute peter pan collars add a vintage twist.

Keeping it printed for AW12...

In keeping with fashion from yesteryear, doll face dresses in gorgeous tapestry fabrics will pave the way teamed with retro blazers decorated with over sized retro buttons. Texture mixes include tartan, checks and pinstripes.

The carpet effect - tapestry dresses are going to be huge!

For the loyal Warehouse customer, their iconic studded detailing that appears simultaneously on cuffs, collars and lapels each season are updated on a monochromatic palette mixed with edgy snake-effect skinny denim and the season's 'IT' coat: the faux fur bomber.

Studs, snakeskin and faux fur - it's the only way to
rock this AW12...

Mannequins suspended above a bejewelled mirror...

It wouldn't be a seasonal Warehouse collection without throwing a bit of animal print into the mix. Studded detailing from a tailored jacket gives an iconic print a rock chic edge.

Animalistic...

Pick of the Press

The ultimate look for AW12 at Warehouse is this amazing clash of print-on-print in a lush softly tailored suit. Vivid watercolours decorate the tailoring in ultra violets, blues and yellows. Brogues add a retro feel whilst heels glamorise these wardrobe staples!

THE look that everyone went wild for - and is there
any wonder why?!

Dance through this summer's print trend with Tata Naka...

An artists palette of smudged primary colours explode onto abstract dresses in an array of beautiful floral prints. A rainforest of botanical digital images decorate tailored cigarette trousers that elongate the leg and accentuate the feminine form. But who is Tata Naka?

The brand consists of two lines: Tata Naka which concentrates on innovative shapes and modern, clean lines and Stolen Memories which celebrates the quirky and fun aspects of design. Specialising in beautiful digital prints, all of which are produced from Tamara and Natasha's original artwork. Georgian born identical twin sisters Tamara and Natasha Suguladze graduated from Central St Martins in 2000 with a collection that launched their careers. The British Fashion Council awarded the designers the celebrated New Generation Award at London Fashion Week three times in a row and most recently, Tata Naka has branched out into accessories with footwear, jewellery, swimwear and scarves.

Button Down Dress
£650

Loose Drape Dress
£535

The Spring/Summer 2012 collection has been inspired by the late choreographer Pina Bausch whose style of Tanztheater combined movement, colour and elaborate design. Think contorted shapes that define femininity and focus on the shapes of the body. The stunning Button Down Dress, £650, is a perfect example of the stunning expressionism behind the range. An unusual print that fuses efflorescent images with two dancing shapes; can you see the female shadows? The Loose Drape Dress, £535, embodies a combination of rainbow brights and bold blooming prints whilst the Petal Dress, £680, enhances embodiment through this season's key peplum cut and pink mirrored pattern.

Asymmetric Dress
£715

Cigarette Pants
£455

If you're yearning after something more gracious this summer, the Asymmetric Dress, £715, is simply stunning. A dream-like jungle of forest greens and pretty herbaceous design decorates the chiffon high-low hem dress - a key cut for SS12. The Petal T-Shirt Dress, £585, similarly represents a mirage of ethereal woodland that echoes the beautiful vision of the Tata Naka brand.

Petal Dress
£680

Shirt
£390
Skirt
£310

If you adore print and pattern and want something that is oh-so-beautifully dainty, make sure you take time to explore the effeminate Tata Naka brand. With the inspiration behind the collection courtesy of choreographer Pina Bausch, Tata Naka will have you dancing your way through the new season celebrating style that oozes lady-like design and fuses pretty couture tendencies.

Twinne: Where Art Meets Fashion...

www.twinne.com

The first collection from Twinne
Are you tiring of the pretty-pretty fashion that goes hand in hand with the summer season? Are you longing to be rocking it back up in a monochrome palette and a statement graphic tee? If your answer to the latter is a resounding yes then a niche t-shirt range from subversive new brand on the block Twinne is going to be heavily influencing your wardrobe over the coming months.

The t-shirt collection is co-created by top worldwide artists; an infusion of anarchic graphic-style prints that are both unconventional and creative. With an initial subculture inspired by the Brand Directors' Italian heritage, the tees promote individual style with muses from London's East End and international urban street life. Through a diverse appeal, Twinne showcases underground designers from across the world who experiment with all kinds of different art forms and fuse together an innovative design strategy to produce an edgy collection of cool tees which instigate subversive youth culture.

Black and white t-shirts are adorned with unusual art from creatives who experiment and push the imaginative boundaries taking inspiration from sights, sounds and flavours of urban life from around the globe. I love the intricate artwork of the Aldo Campilongo tee in white which portrays a tiger submorphing in between animalistic and human life form; simply breathtaking detail. I also particularly like the samurai sword graphic tee by artist and Twinne co-founder Sebastiano Guerriero where the vivid colours of the full bloom flowers against the corrupt proposition of the deathly skull, provokes a sinister attitude that is present throughout the brand's collection.

With Twinne officially launching tomorrow evening (Tuesday 10th of April) at 6pm online, it is clear to see the direction of the brand and where it will be heading to in the future. It's a mixture of an All Saints cult meets Religion's distressed reprimand for lyrical art, musical muses and heavy British influences. But whether it's the unique ideology of submerging underground designers to create a t-shirt brand which is both sexy yet edgy, or the way in which the Brand Directors' have put a slick Italian flair on something so simple, you can tell that Twinne will be gradually shaping the t-shirt design industry through the integration of tomorrow's artists today. The brand's connotations may be dark, but their future in niche fashion looks very bright indeed...

The sun is shining and the sky is blue so it's officially time to pamper those tootsies and get them out on show with some Spring/Summer '12 footwear courtesy of Rupert Sanderson. Your feet will be breathing a huge sigh of relief as you release them from your winter boots and thick wool socks and slip them into something lightweight and delicate. The designer's philosophy is simply 'less is more'. Avoiding augmentation and over dressing the foot, Sanderson concentrates on perfecting line, volume and material to flatter and lengthen the leg, and make women feel sexier. Inspiration comes from the materials themselves; from the sensual curve and silhouettes of the lasts and heels, to the quality and finish of the best leather and fabrics. His desire to create beautiful sexy shoes for women derives from not only a deep feeling for fashion but a love of making beautiful, luxurious objects.

If your feet are all pedicured and pampered, the gladiator sandal, £395, is for you. Team with anything in your wardrobe from maxi dresses and full 50's style skirts to denim cut offs and skinny jeans. Still not ready to bare all? Try these quirky brogues, from £395, in leopard print and tan with cute leather tassels; adorable with bare legs and a vintage dress!

Rupert Sanderson shoes are worn by some of the world’s most glamorous and high profile women. His love and understanding of the highly specialist techniques that constantly inspire and fire his imagination conclude in him designing and creating beautiful shoes that could complete any outfit. So what are you waiting for? Spy the collection online at www.rupertsanderson.com. Highstreet Pyjama Drama..!

Rihanna and Cheryl Cole have been totally rocking the 'pyjama-style-trouser' trend for the Spring Summer '12 season. Silky soft textures, ikat prints and vivid bold colours have been just some of the replica pieces seen currently out on the highstreet and today I even braved the trend myself in a pair from Warehouse! Mixed reactions and a few stares (YES; even in London!) but I was way too comfortable to care - maybe even a little too comfortable as after work I was ready to hit the sack as opposed to venturing out!

So if you want total style comfort and to make a huge statement in the season's hottest print statement, the PJ trouser is for you! Keep it patterned and team with a structured top or blazer to balance out your shape for a flattering form.
