Steal Sevigny's Style with Warehouse...

Now that the high street summer sales all seem to be in full swing, July is a great time to start spotting some of the early new season pieces hitting stores ready for AW12. And with the weather still making it's mind up about whether it wants to rain or be gloriously sunny, we can start investing in some upcoming season pieces right now! So step away from the bright floral maxi dress at half price because, let's face it, when will you be getting the chance to wear it? And try some brand new, weather-safe options on for size instead!

My favourite high street brand Warehouse have had their Autumn collection drops coming in to stores fast and so why not feast your eyes on these wardrobe must-haves?! New trend for Warehouse 'Sofia' sees playful printed tailored pieces matched with jacquard city shorts, giving a whole new meaning to the term 'city ready'! Totally inspired by the effortlessly cool Chloe Sevigny, think simple tailoring paired with boyfriend-fit shirts and over sized blouses. With a major focus in the collection surrounding the staple Mac coat, you will be rain proof for now and winter ready come Autumn all thanks to Warehouse!

So what are you waiting for? See my inspirational picks below to give you that AW12 Sevigny style that we're all dying to have!

Chloe loves a neutral short suit combo!

Chloe Sevigny loves to combine neutral colour tones in her iconic tailored short suits. Here, she adds a touch of animal print for an added edge. Warehouse are renowned for their consistent take on the animal print trend, updating it in new and unique ways season after season. Get her look here:

Does this picture represent you this week? All over the UK umbrella's have been up and down, up and then down again as the rain messes with our daily lives! So why not make like Ms Sevigny and add a staple Mac to your wardrobe? A timeless piece that never goes out of style thanks to Burberry, but you don't have to pay mega bucks to get the look. Try this one from Warehouse, where fantastic quality material gives a tailored feel, set to smarten up any outfit and keep the rain at bay!

Travel in style with city shorts and a blazer...

Wondering how you're going to be travelling around London during the Olympics? As well as taking style tips from Chloe Sevigny, why not take travel tips too?! Proving that bikes aren't just for those sporting the luminous jacket ensemble, Chloe looks uber sophisticated in tailored city shorts and lightweight blouse! I adore a similar look from Warehouse - just add a matching blazer to complete your look on those cooler mornings on route to work!

Tatty's Song of the Week.

Aside from fashion and retail music is one of my main passions in life! I've decided to start posting my 'song of the week' on my blog, so each week you can see what I'm listening to and loving! I will pre-warn you that my music taste is quiet sporadic, so one week it could be a pop song, then the next week a rock anthem and, thanks to my recent holiday to Ibiza, there may even be a few house tracks on here!

Hope you enjoy this week's track by ex X-Factor contestant Amelia Lily. I loved her on the accent - her punky attitude and her husky voice combined seemingly created a star in the making. Her debut single 'You Bring Me Joy' has been released this week. There isn't a video yet, but I managed to hunt this version down on YouTube.

Enjoy!

Yeaahh Boiii...

I can't get enough of all of the seriously cool Boy London products that seem to be creeping up everywhere at the moment! Whether its Rihanna hiding away from the paps in a BOY cap or the stunning Rita Ora clashing her eagle printed leggings with an embellished blazer, the product range seems to be a must-have for any individual with that sensational urban street style.

Head to toe in Boy London, RiRi's ahead of the trend...

Everyone's crushing on Rita Ora at the moment - check out

A vision in white, Jessie J loves the monochrome palette...

Proving you can twist your Boy London tee by adding
smart tailoring...

With a recognisable eagle emblem that has been circling the underground fashion scene since the 1970's punk faze, Boy London went from being featured in a small-time boutique on the infamous Kings Road to an iconic label that represents London, freedom and pure anarchy!

An emphasis is placed on key silhouettes and shapes amongst a monochromatic colour palette, allowing the graphic BOY LONDON lettering to take centre stage. Heavily influenced by punk rock, the brand began to appeal to a broader subject range with celebs such as Madonna and Boy George getting in on the revolutionary label's fashion antics back in the day!

Ibiza Style: Tie Dye...

Following on from yesterdays Ibiza theme, another hot trend spotted on the sandy shores was 'tie dye'. Think late 60's early 70's hippy style influences where psychedelic art, ikat patterns and batik prints took centre stage. Bring the infamous dye forward 40 years into the 20th Century and you get the coolest girls chilling out in flowing maxi dresses, ripped up tees and ombre silk shirts around the sunset strip in Ibiza! Here are a few pieces to get you into the hippy mood ready for your holiday!

Ibiza Style: Who Likes Short Shorts...?

After an amazing two weeks away from my working life in London, I am now officially back and raring to get going on my blog again. I admit, I have been abandoning my blog posts of late, but after a much needed R&R session I am fully motivated and inspired...

This weeks posts will see a major focus around Ibiza! After just returning from a holiday in one of the party capitals, I am all about sun, sea, sand and of course STYLE! Matalan has London Fever...

Everyone seems to have London fever lately. Whether it's because of the Queen's Jubilee (did you brave the Thames?!) or because of the Olympics in a few weeks time, the fashion world is London crazy and getting in on the action is high street giant Matalan.

How cool are these London sight seeing tees featuring famous landmarks such as St Pauls Cathedral, Tower Bridge and Big Ben? My two best friends are London crazy since our move to the Big City 8 months ago and these are a perfect wardrobe addition to feed our capital obsession - there's one each!
